Paul Ince becomes the latest managerial casualty having been sacked by Blackpool.

In an ever competitive Championship the former England midfielder was sacked along with Alex Rae and Steve Thompson.  Blackpool are currently fourteenth in the Championship with 32 points. Some would say that this isn't a bad position in a division full of ex premier league teams. However, nine defeats in their last ten games, coupled with the Blackpool Supporters Association taking a vote of no confidence in Ince led to the sacking.

A club statement said that Barry Ferguson will be taking training on Thursday.  It is thought that he wants the position full time and wants former Dundee United No 2 Malcolm Thompson as his assistant.
