After being been photographed smoking on a night out, Jack Wilshere scored the equaliser in a 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.

Manager Arsene Wenger recalled Wilshere to the starting line up and his faith was re-paid. Wilshere's 63rd-minute strike was his first league goal for almost 3 years. 

"I made a mistake. Players make mistakes, I'm not a smoker," midfielder Wilshere told the Arsenal website. Arsene Wenger said "He is an honest guy and when he is wrong he knows it,"

It takes a big man to admit to mistakes. Especially a young, gifted sportsman constantly in the pubic eye. Well done Jack.
